Celebrities Who Give Back: Larry David and Curb Your Enthusiasm Help Fight Autism

by

Benefiting Autism Movement Therapy (AMT)

We’re big fans of Larry David and his hit HBO show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, here at Charitybuzz. Larry has generously offered great auction experiences with us for over a decade and is one of the many celebrities who give back through offering a number of one-of-a-kind experiences to benefit some amazing nonprofits.

Recently, Larry auctioned a walk-on role in Season 9 of Curb Your Enthusiasm to benefit Autism Movement Therapy (AMT). The enthusiasm for bidding was anything but curbed, with the total raised ending up at tens of thousands of dollars more than the opening bid.

Where the Money Went

With the proceeds, AMT purchased 10 Dell Chromebooks for their Autism Works Now program, which teaches pre-employment skills and provides job training for individuals with autism and related disorders.

Win or lose, every bid you make adds to the financial rewards benefiting charities around the world and the important work they do. They thank you, and we thank you.
